My stay in the hospital was greatly improved thanks to the care I received from the stoma nurse. Their expertise and kindness made managing my new stoma much easier. They patiently taught me how to care for it and were always there to answer my questions. I'm thankful for their support and professionalism during a challenging time. Their help made all the difference.

No issue. She was wonderful, but just the hospital that I stayed at should have informed her that we needed see her.

I didn't feel at all rushed and the nurse was obviously experienced and skilled. She had information on options to apply to the issue I was having. The whole period was relaxed and I left feeling I was supported and all in all far less concerned about the issue the appointment was about.

Perhaps chocolate biscuits...

My experience with the stoma nurse - Fiona Holtham - was excellent throughout. My initial meeting was pre-surgery when I was incredibly anxious about having a stoma -Fiona explained everything in a way that was easy to understand; she was able to put my multiple fears at ease and answer all of my questions. Once I had a stoma, Fiona provided guidance and support as well as helping me determine the best products for me to manage my stoma. What was a very difficult time and experience for me was made significantly easier and more manageable as a result of Fiona’s support - she was professional, knowledgeable and approachable at all times.
